Ingredients:
- – 500 ml water
- – 1 tip of Stevia powder or liquid
- – Spirulina algae transformed into powder, to taste
- – Juice of 1 lemon
- – 3 egg whites
Preparation:
Beat the egg whites with a fork. Put the water, egg whites, lemon juice and stevia on the heat in a not too large saucepan. Let it warm up and turn off the stove before the mixture reaches a boil. Cool quickly by immersing the pot in cold water. Transfer the mixture into a low and wide silicone mold and place it in the freezer for at least 3 hours. Then remove the mixture from the freezer and remove it from the mould. Let it rest for 10 minutes at room temperature, then divide it into coarse pieces. Transfer it to the bowl of a food processor with blades. Add the spirulina previously transformed into powder into the mix, try with 2 grams, but according to your tastes you can increase or decrease the quantity. Blend for 8 seconds at high speed. With a spatula, combine the mixture on the bottom of the mixing bowl, then set another 8 seconds at high speed. Open the lid and check the level of creaminess by spatulating it. If necessary, blend for another 5 seconds. Your spirulina algae sorbet is ready.
